Ryann and I were driving together the other day, enjoying Christmas tunes being played on a local radio station. Suddenly, Ryann called out, "Did you know that Christmas is the most important day in the....whole....world?!" I beamed at her in the rear view mirror. "Yes, honey, I do know that. And why is Christmas so important?" I "knew" she was going to answer that, of course, it is Baby Jesus' birthday! She sang out, "BECAUSE! It's the day we get new TOYS!" Um, yeah....
When asked to solve simple math problems, Ryann counts on her fingers by holding them really close to her face and bouncing her nose/forehead off of each finger as she counts.
Ryann was writing on a chalkboard in her Sunday School classroom this morning while we waited for her teachers to arrive and I noticed she was writing with her LEFT hand!
When Adam is asked to smile for a picture, he does this funny scrunched-up face thing lately:
