Puppy Love

On Saturday, Max, Ryann, and I visited my Dad's beautiful house in Blaine...

...to meet his new, adorable Springer Spaniel puppies Lily and Maggie.  Ryann was instantly and truly in love.  Max was sort of indifferent about the puppies but loved exploring Grandpa's big house.  He asked my dad, "Grandpa, why do you have such a big house?"  This was amusing for me since my kids live in and are cared for, at daycare, in little 1950's ramblers.  My dad's modified two-story seemed like a mansion to them.
