Wow, what a wonderful weekend!
I'm in love...and I'm not cheating on my husband. Who wouldn't fall for these beautiful brown eyes?
Her name is Zoe and she came into our lives just a few days ago. Unhappily for her family, they are going through a divorce and neither her "mom" or "dad" could keep her. Happily for the Stewart family, Zoe joined us already housetrained, non-chewing, loving of kids, non-barking, sweet-as-can-be!
The kids all adore her.
And she adores them...and their food (see the line of drool jiggling down from her maw?), though she doesn't snatch...she patiently waits for crumbs to drop...
Even Stu (who's admittedly not a huge dog-lover, more of a dog-tolerator) has embraced the new gal in the house and took her on his morning walk with him this morning.
Zo-Zo, as Adam calls her, is a taddly-bit overweight so she's getting lots of walks and fewer treats than I think she might have been getting at her old house. They couldn't help it there! They loved her so much, they couldn't resist those baby-browns!!
Not only did we adopt a fur-baby this weekend but we got to go to the State Fair - something the kids look forward to all year long! On the bus there (we park at Roseville High School and take the free bus to the Fair), Ryann sat next to me and kept looking over at me and squealing, "I'm so excited!!!!" We met up with Stu's mom and grandma and between we four adults, the kids got to do everything they could ever have wanted - rides, toys, Fair-Do's, Webkinz, cotton candy, hot dogs....until we were all pooped and headed home for some well-needed rest time!

Wonderful pictures from the fair - you all look so happy!!!!!
OK - so now when I type Z (hint - last letter in the alphabet) it disappears!? No wonder there is no Z (that letter again) ROFL! Weird!!!!
@Mom - I can see the Z's now?! Even in your comment.
@Nikki - that egg was just a prop for the kids to hold while you took pictures. Max sat on his, like he was hatching it, but unfortunately the photo turned out with the egg in focus and Max blurry so I deleted it :( Yes! They do adults' hair, too. The owners of the stand took a photo of a family where the little girls, their mom, and their grandam all got their hair done. It was really cute.
